SUMMARY:Ladies Clinics - Lancelin
DESCRIPTION:Ladies Clinics – Lancelin\nTake your riding to the next level! Join Kiteboarding WA in conjunction with WACK and sponsored by DLGSC\, for a development clinic aimed at wave kitesurfing. The clinic’s aim is to progress and develop female riders’ techniques in wave riding and freestyle.\nThe clinic will be held on Saturday\, 12th March from 12:30pm with riders meeting on the grass outside Lancelin Lodge.\n\n WAVE CLINIC\nThe clinic will cover goal setting\, on the water coaching and de-brief. Riders can expect small friendly groups with expert coaching from former State Wave champion\, Anh-Dao Jeannerat and Luca de Prato. Anh-Dao is a kiteboarding instructor at Kitebud Kite School and her speciality is kitesurfing waves. Luca is an accomplished kite instructor and competitor\, passionate about helping riders push their limits. In the clinic Ahn-Dao and Luca will work on riding style\, technique and potentially include a small downwinder.\n\nSign Up Here\n\n FREESTYLE CLINIC \nRiders can expect small friendly groups and expert coaching from Shannon Ducker\, National and State freestyle and wave champion. The clinic is perfect for learning beginner\, intermediate and advanced tricks\, both hooked-in and unhooked. We will also cover goal setting\, aerial awareness\, water coaching & de-brief.\nThe clinic will be held on Saturday\, March 12th with rider briefing at approximately 12:30pm and coaching until 5pm. We will kite in Lancelin Lagoon opposite Eddies Island.\n\nSign Up Here\n\nRegistration is essential to participate. All riders need to be current members of Kiteboarding Australia for insurance purposes and have a minimum standard of being able to ride confidentially upwind.

SUMMARY:Australian Kite Foiling Championships - National Kite Foil Series
DESCRIPTION:Perth Kite Racing Club alongside Jervoise Bay Sailing Club will play host to the 2021 Australian Kitefoiling Championships as part of the final stop of the National Kite Foil Series.  \nThe dates for the event have been postponed due to ongoing border closures. The event will now take place on the 4-7th of March. \n  \nNotice of Race \nNotice of Race is available \nRegistrations \nRegistrations are now available here \nNational Kite Foil Series Points \nThe Australian Championships are a 200 point contributing event to the National Kite Foil Series. \nThe National Kite Series consists of 6 events across Australia including 5 State Championships and the National Championships. The National Championships is a 200 point event. \nEligibility \nThe event is open to all competitors \nFormat \nThe event format will primarily be fleet racing. The event is Kite Foil\, therefore any equipment may be used for the event. \nNew to racing or on freeride equipment? \nThe event will consist of a Formula X division which encourages participation from newcomers and kiters on freeride equipment. DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event opens at Fri 01 Oct 2021 00:00. \n  Sat 29 Jan 2022 10:00 – Tue 01 Feb 2022 17:00\n  Cotton Tree \n \nThe Freestyle Nationals are set to kick off at Cotton Tree on the Sunshine Coast\, Queensland from the 29th of January to the 1st of February 2022. It will be the second consecutive year the Freestyle Nationals have taken place at Cotton Tree and we are excited to invite riders from across Australia to a great freestyle location on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. \nIt will be a 4-day action-packed weekend\, with the best freestyle kiteboarding in the country taking place in an epic flat water location. \nThe event boasts a huge prize pool\, with live commentary and tunes cranking all weekend\, photographers and videographer will be on-site to capture all the action and with a host of fun events such as expressions sessions and evening dinners there really is something for everyone! \nCome & Try \nOn Saturday and Sunday\, there will be free Come and Try kiteboarding lessons.
